Tax Officer for Business Registration

About the job

You will work with processing and investigation of cases that vary in scope and complexity. The work includes case management, investigations, and registrations related to F-tax, VAT, and employer registration, as well as ongoing customer contacts with both oral and written communication and service. In some of the verbal contacts, it may be advantageous for you to feel comfortable using English.

We work in teams, and you will work closely with your colleagues, providing and receiving support from each other. In this job, you will learn and gain new knowledge both broadly and in depth. You will also contribute to our work with continuous improvements in everyday life and choose effective solutions. You think innovatively, dare, and act. The work involves many contacts, for example, with customers and other authorities. The area of Business Registration can be complex and challenging, with regular changes in legislation, making it suitable for those who want a varied role and are stimulated by gathering information. You have flexible working hours, and it is a given for us that you should have a balance between working hours and leisure time.

You belong to Business Tax Unit 4 in the Business Tax Department, located in Skellefteå.

You should also have:

• a university degree of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits) in a relevant field such as economics or law, or several years of work experience that the employer assesses as equivalent, such as handling tasks from an authority

It is desirable that you have current and relevant work experience in handling or administrative tasks within economics or law. It is also desirable that you have current and relevant work experience in customer service where you have communicated information via phone and email.

Good to know

The employment is permanent and may begin with a six-month probationary period.

An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our tasks in security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
